Timeline

The timeline of each engagement can vary greatly based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to legal deadlines determined by the court, approval of expert retention from the plaintiff or defendant, as well as the priority of the case. Our goal at Expert Institute is to send attorney-clients potential expert witnesses within 3-5 business days from when the case is submitted.

If a client is interested in potential retention, they will generally request a preliminary conversation within one to two weeks. Once an expert has been retained, the firm will communicate the case-specific timeline directly. Depositions are scheduled at least 30 days in advance and trials are typically scheduled about a year in advance.
